Which new types of HMI systems can EPS retrofit with success? From 1980’s to 2023

EPS has provided HMI systems for many different engines all over the world. Using Wonderware (now Aveva) allows us to build industry standard applications.

Using the inbuilt Intouch servers allows us to connect to various controls systems or pieces of equipment. Whether that be an OPC server, Modbus or a proprietary system.

Whilst our background is gas turbines, we have created HMI systems for many other pieces of equipment. Some of these now have powerful data analyses to allow tracking and responding to failures in a timely manner.

On a recent project, rather than install a visual display made by the OEM of the vibration equipment, it was decided to install a EPS built HMI which will allow tracking of all the data, and integration with a PI system if required using an OPC link.

We don’t only upgrade HMI systems, we also upgrade other peripheral systems on the gas turbine control system. Check out some of our projects here.
