EPS are recruiting a Gas Turbine Engineer (Project Engineer) due to continued growth in 2023 and beyond
EPS has an increasing workload and client base requiring us to look for a new gas turbine engineer (Project Engineer) to help us fulfil our commitments and enable us to grow.
Our primary work is controls, electrical and package however we frequently get asked to help out with mechanical work due to our knowledge and skill set.
Working in a small team means everyone is a key player to our success. This means that everyone gets involved in projects from start to finish to really feel a sense of achievement.
We are looking for a gas turbine engineer/project engineer to join our team. The role includes project work in the office (Lincoln or Loughborough depending on your location), as well as on site, on and offshore. The role is estimated to be 70/30 in favour of office based project work, however this may change over time.

Ideal Gas turbine engineer candidates should be:
- Experienced in the SGT100-400, TA/TB and LM range of gas turbines (other ranges of turbines also of interest)
- From a problem solving background to help our customers fix problems that even the OEM struggle to fix
- Interested in learning new types of equipment, hardware/software (full training given)
- Keen to get involved in a very varied and changing workload
- Willing to help the company and the team grow
- A competent IT user to work on our very varied installations
The following skills would be useful for a new gas turbine engineer although not essential as full training will be given:
- Knowledge of Wonderware/Aveva Intouch
- Knowledge of driven units generators, compressors etc
- HV equipment knowledge, AVR, protection relays
