Successful Rustronic MKII Modbus Upgrade to CCC Controllers

EPS have been busy this week updating the modbus connections between a customer’s Rustronic MKII PLC and their CCC surge control and DCS systems.

There was a requirement to add extra information over both the data streams to enable the customer to run their surge control systems safer and more efficiently. The modification was created and fully tested at short notice and, since the customer also utilises bespoke EPS-built HMI’s, is ready for remote deployment – negating the need for a physical mobilisation offshore.

The Rustronic MKII system is communicating to the CCC controllers and the DCS by use of the Serial Communications Module (SCM), this card allows the Rustronic to communicate to any device via RS232 standard. EPS keep SCM cards (among others) in stock – visit our shop for more information.
